Most of the animals species are disapearing from Earth...
But there exists one specy that thrives: the mobile phone. On the mobile planet what we see is simply an endless stream of new handset
models and families!
Diversity flourishes as they're all differents: screen size, number of colors, power, supported features, JSRs, third party APIs, etc.
The downside is that it makes everyone's life hard at finding reliable information. But we decided to solve the issue and to create the first
mobile zoo ever!
In the zoo, you will find almost everything you need about any type of handsets.
But that's not all: You'll find centralized, unique and up-to-date market information about the mobile industry.
If you are creating interactive game or applications for mobiles, Mobile Zoo will become your everyday
reference of choice:
— If you are an end-user, you'll find the zoo very useful to help you chose your next mobile phone.
— If you are a developer, you'll find everything regarding supported API, memory and power rating, network acces information, etc.
— If you are in the business or marketing side, you'll find market share information and financial results and, for example, the list of
the handsests bestsellers; Everything that's required to decide what handset family to target for your next product.
Make the Zoo Growing
Yes, you've heard it: you can participate in this endheavour. If you have access to a handset model that we don't have yet in
our evolution galery, you can add it right now:
MobileZoo™ provides MobileZooHunter™, a Java application that you can freely download from the site
Once downloaded, the app evaluates your handset, extracts and analyses its DNA and finally upload the resulting genome up to Mobile Zoo.
This way you can see what this handset supports.
The Site is in Alpha Stage
The site is currently under development. Not all features are presents. Not all present features are currently stable.
As a consequence, please come and see us on a regular basis to see and use imporvements and new feature additions.
